The Lyncourt School Instrumental Music Program is open to students in 3rd-8th grade. Small group lessons run on a rotating schedule and large group rehearsals are held as follows:

• Concert Band - 8:00 - 8:30 a.m. Day 1
• Intermediate Band - 1:00 - 1:30 Wednesday
• Beginning Band - 1:00 - 1:30 Thursdays & Fridays

We have a limited amount of instruments for students to borrow. You may also rent one from a music store. We are planning on having several more school instruments in the future.

Middle School chorus is open to all students in grades 6-8. Students may still join! We meet every other day, (every Day 2 on the middle school schedule), from 8:00am-8:30am in the auditorium. If you are in chorus, you will receive an extra 2 points on your final average for general music. An early bus is available. Please notify Miss Vogt if you are interested in taking the early bus to get to chorus (pick-up time is at 7:30 am).

4/5 grade Elementary Chorus: 5th graders meet regularly from 11:26-11:55 in the auditorium every Monday. 4th graders meet at the same time every Wednesday. When we get closer to our holiday concert, the two grades will rehearse together on both Mondays and Wednesdays. Every 4th and 5th grader is a member of chorus.

3rd grade chorus: You'd never guess that this is their first year of chorus! Every third grader is a member. We rehearse every Tuesday from 11:26-11:55.
